He’s romanced countless numbers of Hollywood beauties on the big screen, and now it seems Keanu Reeves may have found a new leading lady in his private life, too. The Toronto-raised star was spotted out with a female companion in New York, and if appearances are anything to go by, the pair could very well be more than just friends.
After they’d shared an a deux lunch together, the 43-year-old actor was spotted planing a tender kiss on his pretty blonde date. It was a rare public display of affection from the star, who is closely guarded about his private life and has had few serious relationships since his on-off girlfriend Jennifer Syme was killed in a 2001 car crash.
The hunky screen star, who’s just finished lensing crime thriller The Night Watchmen in LA, once looked as though he’d never settle down. At one point he based himself in an LA hotel home and spent years on the road touring with his rock band Dogstar.

Keanu Enlists as ‘Night Watchman’

‘Matrix’ man KEANU REEVES will next star in ‘The Night Watchman,’ written by ‘L.A. Confidential’ and ‘The Black Dahlia’ author JAMES ELLROY, according to Daily Variety. Production is expected to begin at the end of April on the drama about a by-the-book cop who decides he must change the rules in order to get by in a world of homicide and gang violence.

He has given a gift of several million dollars of his back-end deal for The Matrix and its sequels to a group of 29 technical personnel such as special-effects and costume-design workers for their work. Reeves supported the Wachowski brothers signing away $38 million (his cut of the films’ ticket sales) to cover the expenses for the special effects in The Matrix sequels so that the movies could be finished. After filming The Matrix Reloaded Reeves had a dozen Harleys delivered to the set as a gift for his stunt men. He was one of People’s 1995 “50 Most Beautiful People of the World”. According to an ETonline survey in 2006, he is in “Top Ten of America’s Favorite Stars”.
