A. M. Rathinam to decide the release date for ‘Bheema’

Bheema featuring Trisha and I in the lead roles is ready for release now. I am very happy about the completion of the shooting. Only the final post production work is pending. Everything else is over. Thanks to the efforts of Lingusamy and his dedicated team. As the shooting is over, it is up to the producer A. M. Rathinam to decide the release date. I am confident that the film will hit the screens very soon.

Bheema’s audio to hit the stands

I know that you, my fans, are eagerly waiting for the audio release of Bheema since the past two years. The wait is going to be over. The audio release will happen soon. Harris Jeyaraj has scored the music. The audio will release next week and the movie is expected to be released in the first week of September.

Bheema’s shooting to be completed soon

Bheema shooting will soon come to an end. The story part has been completed. Only a song sequence has to be shot. Director Lingusamy says that the song is to be shot at Prasad Studios.

‘Kandasaamy’ shooting will commence soon

Kandasaamy is an upcoming film for me. It is directed by Susi Ganesan. The Cinematography is by Ekambaram, fame of Iyarkai . Kandasaamy is expected to be released this Diwali. The director is confident that the film will have a good run.

Vikram, the modest and committed actor

Vikram is perhaps the most down to earth and amiable of Tamil heroes. He doesn’t sit on false prestige. Vikram is currently working in Bheema under Lingusamy and will shortly take up Kandasaamy with Susi Ganesan. On Thursday evening, Vikram had to catch the flight to Kerala for Bheema’s shoot.But by the time Vikram could finish his work in Chennai, it was getting late for the flight. With Chennai’s traffic being notorious around the airport area (due to construction works), Vikram taking a car to the airport was a huge risk. He could not have surely made it. But not wanting to leave the producer in the lurch, Vikram hopped on to the bike with his assistant in tow. Wearing a helmet to safeguard him from fans’ attention, Vikram rode to the airport on the two-wheeler. And he managed to catch the flight just in time. Now, that is commitment for you. Meanwhile, Vikram has also started to lose weight for his role in Kandasaamy.

Not only as a rocking film actor vikram also started to work as a playbacksinger. He sung the song Yaamirukka Bayamein for the film shree with Shankar Mahadevan,Tippu. Now he is doing an album with tamil actress meena called Kadhalism. His fans are expecting to hear the voice of their chiyaan.

Chiyaan Vikram’s upcoming film Bheema is creating few waves in Kollywood. The story is different and also a complete masala movie.
Vikram in one of his recent interviews said “Bheema is definitely one of the most powerful roles that I will be playing. The story has come really well I have mentally adjusted myself for the role. But now I need to get ready physically as well. Once I come back from my holidays I will be delving more into the subject.”


The movie was first named as Bheeman and was later changed to Bheema to suit the large than life role of Vikram. The actor also added that he did not regret doing Majaa, since he did have some good time shooting the movie.

He also declared that he is always on the looking for challenging roles which was what his fans expect out of him.
