Chirutha - A son set to shine

September 5th, 2007 No Comments »

It is fairly interesting debating point as to whether any young and new hero is coming into the industry with as much hope and expectation as does Ram Charan Tej. Being the son of the greatest star in the Telugu film firmament, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan has created a huge anticipation in the industry and elsewhere. Now the question is can he handle this humungous pressure. Is it earthly possible to live up to the Himalayan standards set by his illustrious father?

chirutha

Whether it is possible or not, Ram Charan understands the pressure that comes with the territory of being his father’s son. Ram Charan, who seems to have a such a mature head on his young shoulders, realizes that, whether he likes it or not, he will benchmarked against what his father has famously achieved so far. Unfair it is, but it is the way the world is. Ram Charan is fortunately is aware of the pressures and pulls and puts a brave front and seems keen to take up this daunting challenge.

In that sense (of handling pressure), he is certainly a chip off the old block. ‘My father is my inspiration. He is everything to me,’ Ram Charan says, even while smartly adding: ‘I want to be my own man’. This is the kind of attitude that gives the hope that the young lad would go places.

Chirutha, produced by the safe hands of C Aswanidutt (some kind of a guardian angel to the Chiru family), is expected to be a wonderful launch pad for this exciting and enterprising young talent.

Directed by the ever-dependable Puri Jagnnadh, Chirutha promises to pack a punch in all departments.

Delhi-based model, Neha Sharma, who looks attractively comely, plays the heroine.

Chirutha is a story of a young and dependable lover who is up against his lover’s brother. Ram Charan Tej plays Chirutha, Neha plays his lover Jhanvi and her brother is Jagapathi Babu.

It will be an explosive love cum action story, promises the director. The film has been shot in places like Bangkok, Australia and Hyderabad.

Says Ram Charan: ‘We have almost completed the shooting. Will come to audiences in September.’

Ram Charan’s dancing skills would also be under watch. Though it will be too early to compare him with his dad, it would still be interesting how he measures up.

Neha Sharma looks cute and has turned out a very impressive show. There is also talk that Chiru will make a surprise cameo in the movie.

Puri, who is a master of such films, has worked hard on the script.

Mani Sharma’s songs are already rocking with their rhythms and lilt.

Aswanidutt, a wonderful producer, has laid out all that is possible.
